Despite Apparent Public Urination, Sotheby’s Still Interested
When I think of Sotheby’s Realty, I think of Georgetown or Kalorama or Gramercy Park. Now we can add upper Columbia Heights to the list.
Ed note: This house is located not too far from Taqueria Del Distrito Federal. A commenter mentioned the unpleasant sight of public urination on 14th St. Thus the title of this post. I know, I know, if you have to explain it then you shouldn’t use it. Damn.

A house on my block of illinois was sold by sothebys last summer. Maybe that seems out of place, but it was a flip job and the end result was pretty awesome.
a sotheby’s sign is a sign of change (gentrification). i used to think of it as only high-end home, but with the costs of housing skyrocketing here in DC, most single family homes or even town-homes would fit in that ‘expensive’ category.
My purchase of my “inexpensive” 425 sq foot condo on Fairmont St was handled by Sotheby’s last year. A sale’s a sale.
