I once posted on this neat school garden in the past. But this past weekend I was fortunate enough to encounter a bike tour being lectured about the garden. What I witnessed was “a bike tour of vegetable and herb gardens at local schools! Come learn about home-grown goodness at our city’s schools from people involved with the projects.”
There was a suggested donation of $10 to benefit the Women’s Garden Cycles Tour, a documentary project traveling by bike from Washington, DC to Montreal collecting stories from community gardeners.
For more information about future tours contact Emily at gardenbike@gmail.com.
Pretty, pretty cool! Who knew cool things like this existed in DC?
