PoP–On an unrelated note: For the second time in two months, the Washington Post, when reporting about the 7 Catholic schools being converted to charter schools, has referred to Petworth as one “of the District’s poorest neighborhoods.”

As a factual matter, this is untrue. It is also insulting.

Given your clout with Post golden boy Marc Fisher, I think you’re in a prime position to shoot an email Letter to the Editor and correct this lie they keep telling. They’ll print it in the Saturday Free For All Section!

Judging from the top picture, the “hip urban shopper” of Washington DC has a strong aversion to color and only dresses in black, grey, or beige.
