I think it’s supposed to be Billie, but it was a poor effort either way.
Is that miles davis. No…wasn’t he much thinner in the face and darker. The woman is definitely supposed to be Billie Holliday.

Miles Davis I’m pretty sure of but the woman? If that’s Billie Holiday it isn’t a very good likeness. I thought Coretta King at first glance. I gotta tell ya, though, this mural is a hell of a lot better than the outsider art monstrosity that used to be on the Bohemian building when it was called the Underground (I think) back in the late 70s, early 80s.
Where is G Byron Peck when you need him? LOL
If the painter had made room for the gardenia, we wouldn’t have to guess that it is Billie…
