The atrocious renovation on Sherman is looking a bit better. They put in some really nice slate steps and as someone noted last week the bars on the side of the house are pretty stylish. So I’ll file this under, it’s still a shame but it could have been a lot worse.

I still don’t get that pop up. I am not against pop ups, what makes Georgetown so interesting is the variety of heights, but why does it look like doll house landed on the roof. And I hate those stone steps. They look really 1980s do it yourself. Just leave them be concrete. And also can’t get behind the metal railing. It all just looks like too much money not enough taste.
