I am really excited to hear the track is reopened to the public. I was so bummed when it first was renovated and locked up! I gave up trying to get in. Very sad becasue there were many people that used it. Anyway, great to hear that it’s open and as a beginner I would love to run with others to try to push myself. Look forward to trying it.

Any chance the track will be opened to the public on the weekends? I would like to do track work but need to be at work by 8.

I’m down with that. Keep me in the loop. nathanmboggs@yahoo.com

Beautiful day this morning for a track run.
Hope to see more people at the long run leaving Sunday at 10am from Carter Baron at the top of the hill that runs down into the park.

The track is not formally open to the public on the weekends, but I wouldn’t be surprised if you can get in – especially if a team is there to practice. They are pretty laid back there unless you are causing problems. Use the turnstile entrance up top by the parking lot in the school. Enter off Iowa Street right behind the library. See you there next Tuesday morning. It’s GREAT to have the run out of the way and earn your beer at night.

And PRINCE thanks for the visibility, I’ve already gotten a ton of responses. LET’S GO YOU PETWORTH POSSE RUNNERS!!!!
