June Home/Condo Sales

JuneSales

Thanks again to DC realtor Kevin Wood for compiling this list of home/condo sales for zip codes – 20011, 20010, and 20009. What’s the benefit of a seller’s subsidy versus lowering the price? Are there any other zip codes y’all are interested besides the ones here?  If the font is too small you can click the following for a pdf attachment junesales.pdf Pages 2 and 3 after the jump.

Incentives minimize the amount of cash a buyer has to bring to closing.

21K for a parking space is a lot of money… ouch

  • GforGood

Cool. We have space for two cars at the back of our yard. $40k in value right there.. not bad. :D

Actually spots behind my condo listed at $40,000 and sold for much more. $21,000′s a steal.

$21k or $40k is still a ton of money to park your ton of steel.

It would be useful to add another column showing how many days the property was on the market before it sold.

21K or 40K to park your car, OR do whatever the heck you want!! It could be your own little corner of the city! Am I the only one remembering that clip from the opening credits of Bosom Buddies when Tom Hanks and that other guy set up a picnic and lawn chairs in a metered parking spot in the city? Jesus… Why can I remember stuff like that, and not my husband’s cell phone number? Oy.

    How about including 20001

  • Anonymous

I second that — the 20001 zip code includes Pleasant plains and Parkview, which get a lot of coverage in PoP. Please consider adding that to the sales list.

  • Jimmy D

Looks like some good sales prices, especially in this slumping market. Crazy to see some places going for more than the asking price.

  • Kevin

I’d be happy to add 20001!

  • Chris

My wife and I bought one of these listings. So far so good for us in Petworth.
