“This medication is used to treat pain and discomfort from muscle injuries such as strains, sprains, and spasms. It is usually used along with rest, physical therapy, and other treatments”
it’s nuts that a pharmaceutical actually named a painkiller after an emotional sedative in Brave New World. Obvs that someone wasn’t paying attention in English 101.
I’ve been seeing “SOMA” a lot recently. I ride the Red line up to Shady Grove and there are many spots up there with a soma tag, including one rather large piece under a bridge. Would love to know what it means, aside from the Brave New World context, which I doubt is the intent.
