Anyone Frequent the Locolat Cafe?

Looks like it has a nice outdoor eating area. How’s the food?
(Located outside the gym MINT in Adams Morgan).

Locolat is terrific! The owners are very friendly. The belgian waffles are delicious and the coffee is good. I’m not a big chocolate fan, but my wife thinks the chocolates are great. And the new outdoor seating is perfect: gets the warm morning sun, but has the shade in the pm. I haven’t had any of their other menu items, but it all looks good.

I always think it’s called the LOLcat Cafe when I go past. And I think that sounds like more fun.

It was one of the more expensive lunches I’ve had- a sandwich and a smoothie cost me close to $20.

I would be there in a heartbeat if it’s name really was LOLCat cafe and they has cheezburgers.

afterall there was bak in da day a cat themed Franklin’s Cafe around the corner at 18th and Vernon!
