I received this email to late too post yesterday but wanted to share the good deed done by Tropicana Eatery. From a reader:
“The Tropicana Eatery at 725 Florida Ave NW Washington, DC 20001 is spending the day giving out free meals to anyone who stops by. Not only free meals, but free meals with all the fixins. Jerk Chicken, Barbecue Chicken, Curry Chicken, Mac N Cheese, Red Beans N Rice, Corn and Sweet Potatoes. Their generosity is remarkable, and I am very appreciative of the best Thanksgiving meal I’ve had in years.”

Funny I was just thinking about going to get some authentic Jamacian Beef patties from them vs the ones i get from 7-11.

Somebody must be smoking the Xmas Crack Rock…this place is gross. The food is slop and the service is terrible.
