This sign is so ironic it should be a caption contest.

  3. I’ll never forget my first (and only) trip to Murrays, rows of fake velveeta and fatback, and then I truly understood the impending diabetes epidemic….

    (LOL)

back in the 90’s when i was broke as a joke that was pretty much my one stop shop. Everything you needed as a yound single man. It was either Fried, deep fried or breaded and tossed in a toaster oven. My gut was solid as a rock.

Funny thing is that Murrays don’t really carry steaks …I mean they have like 1 or 2 types of boxed steak.

Totally off topic – PoP, where has Kalia been? I haven’t seen her respond to the posts lately

    Kay,
Still here, still a HUGE PoP fan, I have been so busy lately, but thanks for noticing :)

I don’t think it is…Prices are cheap and it’s a good spot to shop if you dont have a family and need to buy sh*t thats quick to fix.

Hmmmm, I’m in need of french fries.

I went to Murry’s once about 20 years ago.

You know how there are Grade A eggs? I picked up eggs and the box said “Grade B.”

    GRADE B!

I looked at some steaks and there were choices there, USA Select and USA Standard. A store like Safeway will not sell anything less than USA Choice or USA Prime if you want to pay for it.

I walked out. I admit this is a 20 year old memory so they could have changed, but really, Grade B Eggs?
