Crazy Car Fire at 16th and Meridian

  • wow – hope everyone was ok. That’s a hell of a car-b-q. A friend used to live on that block and there was almost always at least one blatantly ditched stolen car abandoned either on the street or in the north-side parking lot mid-block. The standard broken window, punched ignition, temp or no tag deal. I’m sure DCFD’s finest of Engine 11 a block away made quick work of this, but that is quite a blaze.

    Does anyone know if the surrounding cars are ok? My car is literally parked on the other side of the fence…

    why is your car parked in that lot and you don’t live close enough to go check on it yourself??

    All the cars around it are fine. And this block really is not that bad anymore, OntarioRoader. I have seen a marked improvement in the past 2 years.
