Love Banana Leaves! Love that they deliver to Columbia Heights (at least the south end of the neighborhood)!
Love it! It’s one of my favorite cheap restaurants in DC, I’ve never disliked anything on the menu and I’ve been going there regularly for almost two years. Plus it’s pretty big and there are always people there but never a wait.
It’s alright. I got sushi there a few weeks ago, and it was good, but not great. My date thought hers was too spicy. Though it’s pretty affordable and more convenient, I still prefer Spices in Cleveland Park.
Oily but good. And across the street from my office.
When we lived in Dupont, we swore by it, and it is still a special treat. We loved to make a full meal out of many of the small plates. Those crsipy shrimp are something to write home about, and we often got the crispy beef entree as well. I could go on. It is worth the trip, although we would go to Sushi Taro for Sushi.
I’ve always liked their food, but their delivery is slooooow. It usually takes well over an hour, so I try to order before I’m too hungry.
Sticky Rice gives this menu and run for its money if you don’t mind crossing over to Atlas District.

I agree with the comment on their uber-slow delivery and was not a fan of the sushi the one and only time I tried it. Can’t speak to the rest of the menu, but there are much better options for sushi in the immediate area.
