Dahlak is located at 1771 U St., NW. I’ve been interested in this place because it seems to be a new spot for live music. But I’m wondering how the food is – any fans of the food out there? I guess while we’re at it – how is the venue for live music?

Best fish tacos in town. Yuca and horchada aren't too bad either.
We went there once and found the food pretty nondescript, though the room and the service were pleasant enough.

not just live bands–good dj nights there, too.
i used to like this place but went recently and the food was subpar. i might give it another try, were it not for the deafening & BAD music.
