It’s really too bad the city won’t allow businesses to do murals like this, even if they do obviously come across as advertising. I feel like if there are no corporate logos this kind of thing should be allowed. I remember when Madams Organ and City Bikes were threatened by the city to remove their murals – I think both had to lawyer-up to defend the artwork and eventually won.
WOW, I didn’t know that….
So what about all the Murals around the City like the one of marlyn monroe?
DC at times have some of the silliest laws…sheesssshhhhh!!!!!

The mural at Bruce Monroe School and other murals look a lot better than grafitti clandestinely spraypainted on other peoples property.
