I teach English as a second language and we do something called error analysis. And vonstallin, one mistake that I absolutely love is mumble sauce, which is how the Chinese speaker probably heard mambo sauce pronounced, and had it written as such on his carry out's menu. But if you think about it, half really has a silent l in it. I would have written it haf with a short vowel. Love English, y'all. Yeah, I know I was taking it too seriously.
