Remember this brutal fire back in August? It’s great it’s getting repaired so quickly, I was fearful that it may be a shell for a while. You can see some amazing photos from an eyewitness of the fire here.

I, for one, am quite excited for this. I am going to see if they are willing to stock Hummus, since Safeway dismissed it as ‘Muslim food’ when I inquired.

I can’t wait for the Royal Farms to reopen! The people who ran that store were very nice and I hope they return as well. Perhaps they’ll take a chance and reconfigure the layout inside and do away with the plexiglass cashier cage? I live right around the corner from this shop and myself and all my neighbors have really been missing it’s presence over the last several months.

This is dead across from another spot you had that happen to be my grand moms house…
I use to walk to that store with my uncle back in the day. I discovered items like Mary Jane candy, Boston Baked Beans, and then Combo’s. They all made an impression on my and all came from that store, including the standard Ice cream, cookies and candy bars.
memories…ah!

Thanks for the Combo’s craving, V. Twenty years at least since my last bag of them, and that chemical cheese craving is back.
