    Definately closest to porn.

  • StubsDC

Holy cow – just the sun room is amazing. I wish there were pics of the kitchen and bathrooms, though…

    I want one!

Seriously, I don’t understand why anyone would want to sell that house.

The thing is that, even if I could afford to buy it, I would never be able to furnish it that well. Hell, I’d pay $3 million, but they’d have to leave everything in the house.

But great house in great location. Probably will go for close to asking price. Seeing this for under $3M, I revoke any support I voiced for last week’s $5M home.

Sorry, I noticed that in the description of amenities, there’s no listing for a secret passageway. I can’t get behind this house without a secret passageway.

  • Not telling

Its nice. The big sofa jacked up on chains in the sunroom is weird. Not sure why they didn’t just buy a porch swing.

Without kitchen photos, I really can’t decide if its a good deal or not. Previous house porn editions have definitely been lacking in the kitchen department.

  • WDC

I want to like it, with all its original detail and whatnot. But it’s just sort of stodgy. It might still be worth the price, but for my 2 cents… meh.

Plus, the floorplan shows that the kitchen is teeny-tiny. Is that why there are no photos? I guess if you live in this house, you have a full-time cook, and don’t care about a kitchen that’s big enough to entertain in. (‘Cause you know the party *always* ends up in the kitchen.)

Your neighbor would be former Washington Post managing editor Bob Kaiser.

  • Herb

Wow! Just wow! I’ll even ignore the ghastly wallpaper borders and just say WOW!

damn! i need myself a sugardaddy!

  • Looks like the board game Clue. “Col. Mustard in the Billiard Room with the candlestick!”

  • AM2

Yeah, parts of it are definitely stodgy, a bit 70s. Reminds me of the O Street mansion. Other parts are really nice. When you do these, you should put what your minimum annual income has to be to afford to live there.
