i know there’s a much disputed “fine-line” between vandalism and guerilla art-fare, but, this is a sweet tag…and given it’s location on the side of a laundromat, the steamy background gives the whole thing purpose for its presence. Props to whoever whipped this one up.
Welcome to the urban version of “Suds n’ Duds!”
Where else in the City can you you grab a cold beer and do you laundry all within a matter of several feet? It is the Urban Duds ‘n Suds that is changing the way the CH does laundry. Another added benefit to live in CH by combinating self-services laundry, entertainment center and much, much more.
Oh, and the mural is well done.
This mural was created by the Words Beats & Life kids. WBL is a community organization based out of Mt Pleasant that teaches kids the hip hop arts (one of the being graffiti).
They also teach them break dancing and MCing.
They often hold fundraising concerts that feature local talent. They concerts are really fun, and are a good way to meet some of the neighborhood kids.
