OK, this is a real archives photo. When I first saw this sign on Mt. Pleasant Street, I asked, “shouldn’t it be called Delta Omega”? But obviously you can do much better than that. Add your caption in the comments section. Winner announced Friday. And if you have an entry you particularly like, say it, so I can pick a reader winner as well!

Alfa… Delta’s long lost brother in tax services..
Sorry to be a wet blanket here, but I don’t get what’s so funny about a bilingual sign offering tax services. The spelling of the Greek letter alpha in Spanish is alfa. I can’t remember what it is, but there’s something about alpha & omega in the New Testament, Jesus being the first and the last, the beginning and the end. So the business was titled after Him. But y’all go on with the contest. Maybe we’ll get something funny and we all need a good laugh these days.
In Petworth, turn down the PC-ometer a notch. The point is that they have the Greek letter Delta where they mean to have the letter Alpha. Or is the Greek alphabet different in Spanish also?

they might interpret this as: “The IRS owns your ass from the cradle to the grave.”
