Spotted this one at Columbia Heights Coffee. I can’t find his name in my notes. But he lived in the CH neighborhood. Def. a bit on the darker side but pretty impressive art.

Who is the rotting lady on the tattoo supposed to be?
This lady in the tattoo must have been a smoker. From the scar on the neck, it appears that she had a prior laryngectomy. It is likely she had a squamous cell carcinoma that led to her death. A great advertisement for the perils of smoking. Or am I reading too much into this?
