The Show Must Go On!
09 June 2009 5:00 PM | By Prince Of Petworth in Neighborhoods - Dupont Circle, artI’m not sure when this happened but it seems the front window of the Aaron Gallery, located at 1717 Connecticut Ave, NW, got broken. Yet the show must go on. It reminds me of when Solly’s had it’s window smashed by the cab and they opened up the next day. Badass. The current exhibit at the Aaron Gallery features Lennon Michalski and Brandon C. Smith and is titled, “Still and Anxious”.

A drunk driver jumped the curb and plowed into it a few weeks ago – took down a streetlamp and some fencing too. The day after the accident the car’s path was painted in orange on the street but I’m not sure if that’s still there. I wonder what happened to this painting that hung in the window:
