A reader mentioned that they liked seedy strip bar signs so I thought I’d add the one above from upper Georgia Ave.

And in complete contrast is this sign from a building at Catholic University:

    Never was a big fan of the Macombo Lounge….

    Foxxy Playground was more my speed….Ah 2 b 17 again…

    OMG, someone mentioned that old Petworth hotspot, the Foxy Playground.

    Foxy was the shit back in the days….no literaly..haa haaaa….
    I remember when they launched a campaine to be a top end strip club….

    It was a massive FAIL.
    I remember seeing a sign that said Dancers and free buffet……

    I was too scared to ask what they was serving :(

    yeah …it had all the odds n ends shaking they ass up n dur !
    grannys, 90lbs crack heads, thickalicous… if it was odd…it was in da house.

    What would be great is a picture of the signage at Skylark Lounge on New York Ave. I bet most people don’t even know that that dirty, green building with a drive thru even is. It’s a strip club. They have this little clear sign with stick on letters at their entryway. It’s a classic of DC attitude.
