We learned a bit about the spot back in June but a small sign is up now and Washington Biz Journal did a write up:
“Diamond District Seafood will occupy about 6,700 square feet at 1608 14th St. NW, where retailer 100% Mexico used to be. The combination restaurant and seafood market comes out of a partnership Seaver forged early this year with restaurateurs Eli Hengst and Douglas Singer, the duo behind such concepts as Sonoma and Blue Ridge Restaurant.”

Hey WE live here and aren't guaranteed proximity. No way I care if a contractor has to...
I used to run on this trail around dusk when I got out of work. I used to pick-up bricks...
Oooook Ted Mosby. What about buildings that aren't in the top 100 buildings ever built?...
Best fish tacos in town. Yuca and horchada aren't too bad either.
I AM looking for a job
Sounds cool!
sounds like blacksalt….which is awesome…check it out if you haven’t
Ooooh… I like the sound of that. I was just wondering this weekend where I could buy some seafood. I wonder if they’ll focus on local stuff, or if it’ll be all Vietnam shrimp and Bering tuna like it is in the grocery stores.
14th St. is becoming a serious strip. Looks like Bang & Olufsen was a good indicator of what 14th St is to become.
So, is it 1612 14th St, or is it 1608 14th St, as it reads in the story?
