This is from outside the Mexican Embassy. I can’t tell if it’s supposed to be toppled like this or if it fell over. Kinda gives it an authentic look though.

It looks as if it has toppled over, or it has been sitting there for a while, awaiting installation. Which begs the question: Since the old stereotype goes that Americans hire Mexicans to do their landscaping, who do the Mexicans hire?

Cultural Center – parts of this have been in the weeds behind their carriage house on 15th St. for at least 5 years:
