“Three infants are missing from 2106 I street ne, they have been
missing since 0845 hours 07/01/2009 reported to MPD at 0120hrs
07/02/09
1. Mykia Gray— black female, DOB 02/03/2007 (2yrs old) black hair
pony tail, light complexion
2. Kenyon Gay—black male, DOB 01-11-2009 (5months) brown eyes,
very light (no clothing description)
3. Keith Gray— black male, DOB 06-12-2005 (4yrs old) brown eyes,
short hair, light complexed (no clothing description)
The juveniles were left in the care of the mothers cousin: Ms Toilynn
Braxton—- Ms. Braxton is known to hang in the area of 14th street
upper NW and Georgia Avenue corridor.
No reason to believe foul play at this time the kids have never been
missing before.
Need citizens in both area of langston and the NW corridor to be
vigilant and be on the lookout until they are located.
Flyers are being prepared and distributed soon

Fox 5 is saying the kids have now been found and are safe.

(So if I you were a suspect in a similar case, would they say where you were “known to hang…” ? Wouldn’t they identify you by your occupation or your home address? Even in hit and runs in small towns, they identify the suspect by their home town, or block, not where they “hang.”)

Missing Kids Located, Police Say; Caregiver Arrested
Why would you put your kids in the hands of someone who had a warrant out for her arrest and who was known for what corner she hung out at? Shaking my head.

there is no answer that isn’t cruel and/or racist.

It doesn’t have to be cruel or racist. If I were in her position and had kids, and the only available sitter was someone who’s wanted by the law, then I’d keep my kids with me. There is always a better alternative.
