New Mural on the Side of the Greek Spot on 11th just north of U Street, NW

It is titled “Endless Bummer” and is rather depressing. Sadly, I’m sure it’s true at a few beaches around the world. Closeups after the jump.

I love it! I’m tired of the same old boring uplifting murals. Reminds me of the beach I went to when I was a kid, ha ha. Poor whale…

Isn’t this mural a couple of doors down from the “Infant Care” with the razor sharp concertina wire?

    It’s probably 5 or 6 doors down.

My guess is that it is in concert with all the bad news regarding the health of the Chesapeake Bay reported this year. The burning ship may be a tip o’ the history hat to the true story of Mallows Bay.

I like it. Almost as much as I like the mural near Ben’s of rambo teeth and dentist in a tank blasting the shi* out of plaque and gingivitis with missiles, fire, and hot blondes everywhere. It’s on the side of a dentist’s office.
