Ojo Latino is a series by Néstor Sánchez Cordero. This week features great pictures from the 14th and Girard Park opening. Néstor says, “Images are around, the secret is to catch them at the right moment and with the right light…”

I agree, the first one is great, as well as the rest.

I bought a nice camera and have been playing around with it, but I’m a bit shy at taking pictures of random people so I have mostly stuck to landscape. Do you ask first? Have you ever been yelled at for taking someone’s photo?

    Brilliant photos. Congratulations.

I love the Michael Jackson type of kid.

    Cheers.

Yes, the dancing kid is a great one. Awesome photos, Néstor.

  11. Great photos. The Fenty one is hilarious, though. Seems like he always has some weird look on his face.

Thank you all very much!!! In answering the question about photographing people I find it challenging, I guess here what I did was stick around, talk to the people, the police, the organizers, the DJ, et al. And yes Ive been offered to have my head bust opened, Ive been cursed at and followed…but I like it….I guess PoP has too as well as Matt Dunn and Bogotron, right guys?

    Saludes,
