And if anyone is in the Park View area and needs some rosemary, sage, oregano, and/or mint contact me. I plant but never use and it is getting out of control!

Rosemary is usually pretty hardy. Lots and lots of sun and not so much water. Ours actually over-wintered - it's a little evergreen after all.

Sorry - previous comment cut as it didn't like some characters

re:>It’s signs and gestures like this that remind me why I love this city so much.

(sniff) I *heart* DC, too.

Mayhaps we're getting the wrong rosemary plants. We've killed 2 and our 3rd is walkin' with a limp. This looks like a different kind, though.

I'd heard that would happen with our basil, too, but I must be doing something wrong. Do you pluck off the purple flowery things that grow on the basil plant?

Yes, you wash everything from a garden before you use it.

I understand their generosity. Our rosemary is out of control, and I cut and give away HUGE amounts of it regularly. Rosemary grows very well here.

Heh heh heh. Agent Hu Do Yu triumphs again as his "free rosemary" ploy in front of the consulate of Democratic People's Republic of Korea is a success. Soon all American pigdog capitalists will have indigestion AND no internet access to the Federal Trade Commission!

ALL PRAISE TO THE DEAR LEADER!

This is really cool... But unfortunately I must have a very suspicious mind because I would never take this for fear of what has been done to it... Do you wash rosemary before you use it? What if a dog licked it, or worse, peed on it?!
