This building is located on Wisconsin Ave between Macomb and Newark. I’ve always liked the painting on the old C.C. Murphy Building. Many have heard that a new Giant will be anchoring this spot. Here’s a rendering of what it could look like in the future:

This was posted to the window on the pizza place on U Street between 13th and 14th (near the sweet new murals). Was there an incident (dang can’t remember the name of this spot near Polly’s) at this pizza spot that I haven’t heard about?

The Stanford in Washington Art Gallery, located at 2655 Connecticut Avenue, NW; is showing an exhibit on the drawings of Eric Carle. When I showed this tattoo from the children’s book, Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, folks were remembering a few of their favorite children books. This home is rather deceiving from the outside. On the inside it is gigantic. What do you think of the house itself? The price has dropped from $1,795,000 to $1,595,000. Is it time to pounce?

Tackle Box is located at 3245 M St., NW. I’m a huge fan of lobster and was excited to see a sign here for lobster rolls. You can see the whole menu here but the lobster rolls go for $19. So my questions are: How is the lobster roll? Any other items of note? Is $19 too expensive for a lobster roll? Any other spots in DC to get a lobster roll? What’s your overall impression of this place – thumbs up or down?
