I was psyched to see this great shot from mediaslave. It is near H Street, NE. I walked past this exact spot last weekend and admired the building but my camera broke. So I couldn’t believe when I saw this shot in the PoPville flickr pool. Too cool.

Hilarious… this business actually exists, I get their fliers on my car from time to time.
By the way, in case anyone doesn’t know this you can get rid of your own trash for free at Fort Totten Transfer Station near catholic U. You just need to show your DC drivers license. Trash haulers are NOT CHEAP. The one time I used one because I was feeling a little overwhelmed, I couldn’t believe how much they charged — like $200 for what I could have gotten rid of in one big pickup truck load. That’s a lot of money for about an hour of work to load it, drive to Fort Totten yourself and dump it there.
I sent a picture of this in back in June and you posted it: http://www.princeofpetworth.com/2009/06/reader-submitted-sweet-city-sign-8/
I am really surprised that it is still in business!
What block is this on?
Thanks.
That’s the corner of 4th and I Streets NE – and if they are in business, they’re certainly not working out of this location!
