I’ve come across many block parties in my walkabouts but this one may take the cake.

They had a whirly bird! A real whirly bird! For a block party. That is the coolest I’ve seen. (It was on Saturday.)

    I think having the Whirly Bird at the police-organized National Night Out in Columbia Heights a couple weeks ago would have been so much better than the casket and gunshot-wound- mobile.
