I’ve seen mattresses, shower curtains, odd books, gym equipment but this is the first food item. Green Beans. And French Style to boot. Gotta love the randomness of it all.

I love shopping on the street and in the laundry room of my building. People use the folding table to leave items they don’t need any more. I’ve gotten some great dishes, a coffee maker, a hand mixer, and many books. One thing, if you need law books, they are EVERYWHERE.

I once saw a jerk box left by a planet aid receptacle with ripped up books, old hangers, all kinds of random crap..the kicker being two melting lean cuisines! grrr…

lanier and calvert have the best free stuff piles. i’ve succeeded in getting a super gay beach bag, a vhs copy of the corey haim / corey feldman hit “license to drive,” and just this past saturday a 7ft fall inflatable rocket.
