I’m so glad Olive was found and is safe and at home again! Charlie is looking forward to competing against her again in the CH Day dog show! Maybe this next year she can eat an entire wheel of cheese for her trick!

I just took most of the ones I found on 1st and around Rhode Island Ave NW down when I was walking my own little black & white dog this morning. You guys sure were prolific! (Understandably so.)

As Olive’s co-owner I’d like to give a big thanks to everyone for your help and concern, especially to PoP for posting this so quickly. We definitely owe you one.

And thanks hipchick for letting people know it’s OK to take the flyers down. I’m planning to spend tomorrow walking around the neighborhood taking any remaining ones down.

@Jay’O, yes, there are a few. http://www.findtoto.com has been in the “news” lately b/c apparently Jessica Simpson (naively) used their services where her dog was “abducted” by a coyote.

HomeAgain (a common brand of pet microchips) will email members when a pet is lost in your area, although I just got an email about a lost dog in Burtonsville, MD, so apparently they define area pretty broadly.

I saw this person chasing the dog all the way down Georgia Ave this morning. Everyone on my bus was watching and couldn’t believe how far and fast the dog was running. Two dudes on bikes were even trying to catch her but couldn’t. I feel bad because she walked right past me at the bus stop at Columbia Rd. I thought she was with the woman walking a short distance behind her and didn’t realize she was unattended until I was already on the bus. I hope you find her!
