New Bar Coming to 3632 Georgia Ave. Applies for Alcohol License
I’ve been getting a number of emails about this spot. This is the place that is going to be the new lounge and sports bar, The Green Room, located at 3632 Georgia Ave. (right next door to Looking Glass Lounge). You can find more details from an interview I posted with the owner here. One thing I was excited to learn from the application was that there will also be a small summer garden that can seat 20.

When I heard him speak at the Park View UNC meeting, he said he hoped to have it open in time for the super bowl. I’m pretty excited for this place!!

I think we should be happy. A new bar, by a well know upscale bar owner, is certainly better than another nail shop, barber, hair weave, or even a liquor store.
Be happy anyone even wants to invest “their” money in our neighborhood.
