I know folks love their wings so I thought you’d be happy to hear this news. They opened up in early August. This spot is kinda wild because it is on a block of residential homes, and this restaurant just pops up in the middle (close to Georgia Ave). Unfortunately I wasn’t hungry when I passed it but has anyone checked it out yet? If so, how do the wings rank?

MPDC Police Chief Cathy Lanier reminds you, "If you smell something, say something!"
Seriously. I'd never heard of this place and a quick yelp search with key terms found it.
y'ever been to pinkberry? medium w/ two toppings runs almost $7 if memory serves.
The first rule of Rosa's is you do not talk about Rosa's.
Love Forrest Hills. Huge lots and pretty neighborhood. Wife and I took a shot at a place...
We were about thissssss close to buying the salmon colored house next door. I’m soooooo glad we didn’t. One complaint I heard from neighbors was the rat problem due to the carry-out places on Georgia ave. Hopefully it won’t get much worse with this place.
Now, at first I was surprised they could have a commercial property on a residential street but… if you look at the zoning maps for Georgia Ave, commercial zoning spills over about 100 feet on most adjacent side streets.
Oh no! I hope it’s not a sitdown place. That’d make it hard to go to Hooters “for the wings.”
Do they have MAMBO? also where can i find a zoning map Jay’O?
I see why they opened up a place that serves strictly wings – they were incredible. Quite possibly the best wings I’ve ever had in DC. I hope all the gentrys don’t frequent it though – may become a place to stay away from.
You’re full-time now PoP…go give it a try today and let us know what you think.
Step it up!
J Bell used to have a very well known DC Winghouse, in shaw, several years ago. this is his new incarnation. Wings are slammin, best in the city. dont sleep on the mac and cheese, fried fish and pork chops as well. oh, and homemade desserts. yes this place has it all. go early and often.

this place became a staple of my diet pretty much overnight.
hilltop’s right – this place is the best, and don’t forget the mac&cheese. we got medium and 24K, the m&c, greens, and peach cobbler. also, the greens were too mild for my taste, but i added some vinegar and some hot sauce at home and they were great, not mushy.
For a while he was going to open a place in my neighborhood, Truxton Circle. TC foiled yet again!
After seeing this post about this place, I decided to try it out today for dinner. I am a wing-lover and have been trying to find a good wing in this town for years (my favorites so far include Wingo’s in Georgetown, Wings Over Washington in Brookland, and surprisingly, the Argonaut on H Street has some great ones).
The service was pretty terrible. I came in and no one bothered to take my order for about 5 minutes and the one guy was on what appeared to be a personal call.
But, reality is that you don’t go to a winghouse for the service, you go for the wings. And these were by far the best I’ve had in ages. They were cooked perfectly and the sauce (I went with medium) was delicious. Didn’t try any of the sides and I don’t think I will. But these wings are the truth!
I tried these yesterday too. The 24k sauce was tasty and The wings were pretty good too, but far from great. I’d say somewhere above average. I’m going to guess that they were frozen before they were fried. And the mac and cheese was nothing special at all.
I havn’t tried any of the 3 G mentioned. If you want quality wings go to Rocklands in Glover park.
