I think it’s pretty fresh they spruced up the parking garage. If you’re not familiar with the Sitar Arts Center you can check it out here.
It also gives me an opportunity to link to one of the coolest condo buildings I’ve seen in the city…

Hinkley Pottery on the same street and across from Sitar Art Center is a fabulous place and would be a worthy post, Prince.
Pottery classes are held there, wet clay, spinning wheels, high heat kilns, really cool finished pottery on display, the works.

Thanks, I should have known; nothing escapes your camera, but that post was before I discovered PoP.
You mean the Columbia Heights Harris Teeter?
Nope, this is the one in Adams Morgan.
Also, what’s going on in this mural anyway? I think that might be our own Prince of Petworth on the right, wandering around town taking pictures
@No…the “Columbia Heights Harris Teeter?” You are incorrect sir (or ma’am) no matter how you slice it.
Our summer elementary aged mural class painted this; they were asked to explore variations on the theme of “Beauty and the Beast” (our summer musical) and the kids chose an environmental lens. The right side depicts the beastliness of littering and the left the beauty of recycling.
Thanks for posting it, Prince of Petworth! The kids were very proud. And thanks to Harris Teeter for the canvas.
@no – it is most definitely adams morgan, not columbia heights.
