“Dear PoP,
Saw this ad on craigslist.
Urban Sustainable, a new urban gardening retail store opening soon in the Mt. Pleasant neighborhood, is looking for some part-time help.
Qualified applicants will possess the knowledge of:
Outdoor/Indoor Gardening, Hydroponics, HID Lighting, Nutrients, Composting, Reverse Osmosis, Ventilation Systems, etc.”
Always nice to hear about new retail coming to Mt. Pleasant! Has anyone else heard about this store? I assume it’ll be on Mt. Pleasant Street, yeah? I’ll post more details as they become available. I’m intrigued by the hydroponics…

Am I the only person who lives in the U Street Area to have a problem with the fact that...

The point is... I don't need to leech Wi-Fi (I have it at home... unlike, apparently,...

Haven’t heard anything about it but sounds like a nice addition. And yeah hydroponics sounds like a good fit for MTP… They should do well
I guess this store will be somewhere on Mount Pleasant Street… I wonder which storefront.
would be very cool if it were a garden district meets hydroponics type store. I would be there often. Not even for pot. I want to try growing tomatos in the winter. Is that possible?
someone should email the ad and ask them where they are locating and about their business plan. not it.
Cool, though first thought was Jim Rapp . . .

really? good news find it hard to believe though.
That’s quite a list of things you need to know. I assume this person will then be paid an hourly salary without benefits?! Ain’t America grand!
This is fabulous news! I hope they sell organic products.
This will be a great addition to the neighborhood. Let’s hope they aren’t too noisy, lest someone who lives on the other side of Rock Creek try and shut them down.
