Love the Latina Lady Gaga…she is absolutely fabulous! Dale Alonssita!
Is this what you consider news worthy?
Umm, Zuckerman, the Drag Race is one the greatest annual events held here in DC. How can that not be newsworthy?
Homophobe much, Zuckerman?
It is certainly newsworthy. Some of those drag queens are downright trifling, but it’s not exactly a beauty contest! I had a blast.
I couldn’t make it, but I love how fun this is. DC needs to lighten up.
I’ve never heard it called the High Heel Race, but have heard that several times this year. Is this some new movement. It’s a Drag Race. It’s not a high heel race.
Beautiful work, Nestor and Sanjay.
They should all be round up, arrested, and taken downtown in paddy wagons
-Except for the one in the red dress with the shades in the first picture.
It’s too early in the day for me to say why.
@Drew: It’s always been called the high-heel race.
For the 1st time in almost 8 years I couldn’t attend. Did anybody see who the 4 headdress ladies were this year? They are always some theme (board games, snack food, etc) with giant mardi gras-worthy outfits.
I’m assuming Lady Di showed up again. She needs a new gig, that one’s tired!
@Anon 3:29 – Yes they were out this year and the theme was musicals. The two I saw were Cats and Annie.
the b&w slide show is AMAZING! such great pics
