It’s been a while since I’ve done a PSA but this is important. Rock Creek Park is looking amazing. As a neighbor told me, you don’t have to go all the way to Shenendoah to appreciate the Fall foliage. In the next week or so though you should really take a drive or walk through the park, it is amazing. Also many of the side streets around town are equally breathtaking. Take a walk soon, you won’t be disappointed! If anyone has some favorite spots to check out the foliage around town please let us know where we can find them. I checked out many of the sidestreets in Georgetown that were incredible.

Went there tonight after work and asked about the deal -- was told it was "only during...
I like the idea of providing vouchers for rent and allowing recipients the opportunity to...
Still love The Current from Minnesota Public Radio...but like those before me, I'm biased...
The world isn't fair. Some people have more and some less. Im not trying to be crass...
Locally I prefer NPR and WPFW. I also listen to Seattle's KEXP on the internet.
I asked my friends to go this past weekend. They responded that people only go to Rock Creek Park to die.
Standing on 15th street and looking down Swann towards 14th. The trees formed a red/gold canopy. S & T streets weren’t bad either.
DON’T take your car there for a drive – walk or bicycle, please!
I was at the riding corral on Ridge Road yesterday. It was beautiful. Yesterday, I also went to the bike race at the Soldiers Home. Also beautiful!
Driving, motorbike riding and Bicycling. Im in RCP all the time and its wonderfull…
except the down hill path into damp leaves with clip on , on…ouch….
Kev i rode my motorbike by the cyclocross race at the soldiers home. Thats so funny because my friend have trying to get me into cyclocross racing and im riding by and go WTF? here….niceeeeeee
any idea what group/org sponsored that?
I do the Whittier trail, the x-country, into the back of the golf course, and its great. My own personal estate (assuming no golfers of course).
von: The cyclocross race is sponsored by by what used to be the City Bikes Mountain Bike Team, but they’re now just DCMTB as they’ve parted ways with City Bikes. I think this is the third or fourth year they’ve run it.
And Grant Circle is closer and more beautiful:

Nobody told me about it this year…
hey walk or bike!
driving through RCP and GW Parkway in the fall makes me feel like I’m in a car commercial…I can hear the voice over whispering, “performance”
I didn’t know about it…but since ill start cyclcocross racing (hopefully) within the next few weeks ill keep ya posted on what i hear.
True, i drive thru RCP/GWP and others. My current sports coupe have a sunroof and it makes the drive enjoyable…but when i use to have a nissan 300zx twin turbo…the removable roof pannels made it even more enjoyable.
I use the parkway to go down town vs the city streets…I use it to go to Virginia and north west to rockvile area…
its like a central hub going everywhere south west and north.
My roommate and I finally checked out LeDroit Park. Amazing houses and amazing trees. There is even a cute little circle/park in the neighborhood that looked really stunning in the sunset.
@Emily yup amazing stuff in LeDroit. I captured some of it here:
