Meanwhile, our country's social fabric tears apart. Insane public policy insures that, in the world's richest nation, a parentless, uneducated, hopeless permanent underclass grows. The rich get richer, the poor stay poor, and the middle class fades away. It might all hold together for another generation. But our children will grow old in a third-world police state. As I walked by there were several police cars and a fire truck out front. An ambulance then pulled up and about 15 police cars drove by at around 70 mph and turned east on Florida Ave, and the police cars that had been in front of the building peeled out and left as well. A little later I saw a TV news truck heading south on 16th towards the building. I'm guessing a murder?
