Building Next to the Old Garden District Looking Ready to Roll

This building is located on S St., NW right next to the old Garden District and soon to be Crepes on the Corner, just east of 14th Street. It seems like the renovations have been going on for some time and is finally wrapping up. It looks great from the outside. I’ll be sure to keep a close eye on this one to see what goes in.

I’ve been staring at this crazy little building all day. It looks like its top heavy or missing a level or something or it should be jacked up and a basement added. It just seems like it shouldn’t plop on the ground like that. Maybe I just had too much to drink at lunch.
