The Georgetown cafe is called Puro. It's surprisingly conceptual. Whether it's actually any good, we'll see.

I’ve been doing a series on new restaurants on the Hill for The Hill is Home, because the number of places opening up is astonishing. In my interviews with owners, it seems to be a combination of things: there are still plenty of people with disposable income in DC, rents have been favorable, interesting spaces are becoming available. And, while I think that there definitely are a lot of places opening up, with the proliferation of twitter and blogs and the like, we hear about things instantly, and for many months before something actually opens, so we’re more aware of new places being built out, in real time.

The restaurant in the picture is a little honey patch for mexican food. Great breakfast too. mmm, Huevos Mexicana. The owner and staff is super-nice too.
