“Dear PoP,
His name is Manny, he is a Newfoundland/St Bernard mix (yes he is that big!) and is one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met. He was last seen at the park at 39th Street NW (Nov. 2) and ran into the woods leading into Rock Creek Park. He was wearing tags, but unfortunately they found the collar and tags, so he will have no identification now. He is very friendly, follows basic commands and is not aggressive at all. I have attached a photo of him. If anyone has seen him or knows of his whereabouts, please contact me at bense22@yahoo.com. Thanks and I hope that the geographically diverse readership can help out!”

Am I the only person who lives in the U Street Area to have a problem with the fact that...

The point is... I don't need to leech Wi-Fi (I have it at home... unlike, apparently,...
Haven't listened to the radio in about 12 years. It's all iPod for me.

take off your shackles and run free manny…free as a bird.
Such a beautiful dog! I hope he comes home safe and sound.
I think we should bring Molly in for some questioning…
Did anyone find Cocoa the little Yorkshire Terrier who went missing last week?
I think the dogs are forming an underground railroad…..I bet they are based in Rock Creek park.
They are tired of sitting in small condos all day and walks to small crap laiden parks. They want to venture out to the great green younder so they run…
Run like the wind…
Running wild my friends
Running Free
Poor Molly, I thought of her yesterday when I walked home. I saw a poor doggie tied up outside Starbucks and some crazy lady talking to it attempting to approach it. Wasn’t sure what she was gonna do, pet it or take it. I hope the owner saw and intervened. The lady seemed sort of scared of the dog, but kept approaching it. The dog yawned and she jumped back like it was trying to bite her. I figured the dog was safe-ish if she was that scared of a yawn so I went on my way.
also I hope Manny gets home safe and sound.
Just wanted to note for the record that “Vonstallin” is a jackass. The last thing the poor person who has lost Manny needs is pointless, asinine comments.
