Baggage claim is a mess though -- tons of piles of unclaimed baggage, baggage taking a long time to navigate the few plowed areas of the airport before being put onto carousels. Apparently there planes parked all over the place, on the land outside the runways. Usually those planes can return to the air, but runways are limited as are plowed gates... so the grounded planes are stashed where ever there is room. Roads to Dulles are great.
