Anyone Ever Check Out Pangea Market?
Well this looks pretty cool. According to their Web site:

The store itself is located at 2121 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW and you can take a tour here. The building itself (IFC HQ) is also pretty sweet:

I AM looking for a job
It’s a nice place and the coffee is good. It is never, ever busy so I doubt they turn a profit but these kinds of stores are more to raise the sponsoring organization’s profile and to send a positive message.
Pangea is nice, but I much prefer Ten Thousand Villages for unique gifts that help poor craftsman around the world.
Run by the private sector arm of the World Bank. Good sandwiches and coffee, friendly & attentive service, free wifi, but nothing in the crafts shop area I ever felt compelled to buy.
i didnt the food was that great
and i didnt think the staff was very attentive but i could have caught them on an off-day
