I like to show interesting painted brick options when I find them. This one is from LeDroit Park. Even though it was a very rainy day when I took this photo you could spot the house from a mile away. I gotta say, I like it. I know there are those that don’t like any painted brick. But for those that do – what do you think of this color?

Woo! $8 slice of pie here I come, right after my $4.50 cupcake!
(But their pies are...
Been meaning to try their Caramel Apple Crumb pie for awhile. This will definitely make...
I thought they said there would be a lot of pigs here, but there are horses too?
OMG their SMOG and Baltimore Bomb pies are ridiculously delicious!
behind enemy lines
fantastic. the color of DC rowhouses is the epitome of the saying “variety is the spice of life”
I love it! Such a buttrey sunshiny orange!
Captcha: “beerbohm it” lol
My father was a stone/brick mason so I always think painted brick is atrocious, but then I’ve learned there is often a reason for it in this city. (i.e. to cover mismatched brick repairs)
It screams Trick or Treat. Can you just see a giant jack o lantern in the doorway with some witches along the side wall.
Indeed — great color one day a year.
Go Vols!
Hate the trim… and the reversal behind it is pretty bad.
As I walk by it each day to the Metro, I shudder. Every time I walk by it with friends, they all shriek in horror…maybe because we’re gay and wouldn’t consider such an obnoxious color. Don’t get me wrong…I have an orange spare bedroom…but not THAT orange (with yellow trim). I’d like to see what David Bromstad on “Color Splash” would say!!
Don’t worry about it, it’s nacho house.
Okay I had one side of my house painted orange, but not that color of orange…. GO GATORS!!!
