Back in the begining of Jan. we heard that Adams Morgan was getting a new coffee shop at 2204 18th Street, NW. It has officially opened. It’s a nice little space with pastries and other food options (the menu was still be finalized when I stopped in) as well as coffee. To the reader who inquired in a previous post – they don’t have the comfy chairs like Tryst. But it is a very comfortable and clean looking space. Anyone try their coffee yet?
A couple more photos after the jump.

Orange kitties are psycho- I have one and he's nuts. Adorable, but nuts.
Yeah, that right there would have me walking out the door. Nothing says "You'll...
Columbia Heights and Georgia Ave opened on the same day.
I love it love it love it. I live nearby (Eckington), and bike by it almost every day....
Beautiful building, BOLD, which is a rarity in DC. Not sure how people think there is too...
Oh i was about to say something smart like “Oh Cool another coffee shop…we sure need that” but as I click and saw the cakes I changed my opinion and thought “Oh cool Cakes…nom nom nom”
So I will check this out next time im on my bike.
From the pictures, it looks like just another non-descript place that happens to serve coffee. Not sure why this is worth making note of in PoP.
yippy, another orange coffee shop – how original!
What type of coffee are they brewing? Organic, Fair Trade?
What? Maxwell House not good enough?
What the shit is this place? The decor looks horrendous. And their menu is still being finalized? These people obviously haven’t done a lot of planning, or they just don’t know what they’re doing. No thanks. I’ll spend my money elsewhere.
PS – We still don’t know its name.
m/, I guess there’s no accounting for taste! I personally love the decor, and was marveling at how nice it looks. I’ll probably never go here, not living particularly close to Adams Morgan, but dang is this place pretty.
Does it have a name?
