Logan Circle Restaurants Still Coming to 14th Street, NW?

I’ve been getting lots of emails inquiring about any progress on some of the restaurants slated to come to 14th Street, NW. The one above was/is supposed to be the Diamond District by Chef Barton Seaver, located at 1612 14th Street, NW. Sadly, the Diamond District sign has come down and when I peeked in the window there didn’t seem to be much progress. While I really hope the Diamond District makes it, at this point I’d welcome the return of 100% Mexico…

In equally uneventful news the spot to serve American Fare, Local 14 coming to 1832 14th Street, NW hasn’t made much progress either.

I’ll end on happier news – Point Chaud is making serious progress at 1734 14th Street, NW. I imagine they’ll be open relatively soon. Stay tuned and have a great weekend!
