Arisu was located at 1734 Wisconsin Ave NW. I thought this was a restaurant we judged but I can’t seem to find it. Yelp reviewers gave them fairly high marks. I’ll be sure to update when info becomes available when a new tenant moves in. In the meantime, are there any good places to get Korean in DC?

Orange kitties are psycho- I have one and he's nuts. Adorable, but nuts.
Yeah, that right there would have me walking out the door. Nothing says "You'll...
Columbia Heights and Georgia Ave opened on the same day.
I love it love it love it. I live nearby (Eckington), and bike by it almost every day....
Beautiful building, BOLD, which is a rarity in DC. Not sure how people think there is too...
Adam Express in Mount Pleasant! Great, cheap, take out. The sushi is also good.
+1
+2 for Adam Express. Nice people too, even if they can’t speak a lick of English.
Not in DC but I have recently experienced the ultimate in Korean BBQ, Honey Pig. It was amazing in all phases. I had a dream about it last night, no kidding. It’s all the way in Annandale but it was worth the trip.
Mandu at 1805 18th St is good and they have a great happy hour. I recommend the bi bim bop and the pork belly. What I really want is a Korean place that delivers!
+1 on Mandu
Mandu is one of the worst, unauthentic, overpriced “Korean” restaurants ever. Literally, the food there is the worst. The yellow bulgogi cart on 14th and L as mentioned earlier is even better.
We go to Mandu at least once a week and being Korean, can say that it is authentic and very very good. And just by judging on how busy they are, “Nice’s” comments seem a bit ignorant.
Am also Korean, and agree with “Nice” that Mandu is terrible and over-priced. Most of the people I know who like it are those who have never been exposed to real Korean food.
the yellow bulgogi cart at 14th and L. I have to restrain myself from going everyday.
and i do love mandu’s happy hour.
+1 on yellow bibimbab stand. Only $7 cash for rib sticking salty Korean BBQ, rice and salad.
This location is cursed for business.
I have only lived in DC for 6-7 years. But all the restaurants on that block never last more than a year or two.
Korean restaurants seem to have short lifetimes. We’ve seen four of our favorites close down without warning. There are some good ones now out in Annandale.
For excellent Thai and Chinese, try the little-known Satayclub, 4654 Wisconsin Avenue, north of Brandywine Street. Yes, you can actually find parking on the street there.

I second the Mandu recommendation.
Lighter, located right next to the eastern entrance to McPherson Square metro, has decent Korean standards if you’re part of the downtown lunch crowd.
Adams Express in Mt. Pleasant is SO good. Yelp has some good things to say. http://www.yelp.com/biz/adam-express-washington . The owners are really sweet people too!
its too bad georgetown is way the hell over in georgetown. i like the buildings and the canal. it could be a nice place.
For Korean, Annandale is where it’s at.
or Korea, even.
i liked bibimbap sushi off k st
If you are willing to buy a house, you would have to get the home loans. Moreover, my mother always takes a commercial loan, which seems to be really reliable.
